Two little darlings.

It's hard to believe that three months have gone by since I last photographed these two beautiful children, our good friends. Baby Xander is three months and his big sister,Evelyn, celebrated her fourth birthday in April. It is always a pleasure to see these two, and to celebrate who they are with photographs. I hope their mom and dad enjoy the little sneak peek!

A little bitty psa. . .

We recently adopted this beautiful, SWEET three year old kitty from the animal shelter. He is amazing. So loving and sweet. Someone must have really loved him before he ended up in the shelter b/c he loves to snuggle and is just super sweet and mellow. We are so very happy to have him with us! And I hope that someone didn't lose him and misses him.

So, the psa part-when I was at the shelter filling out the paperwork the lady at the desk said they had over SEVENTY cats/kittens right now. That's A LOT of cats. And that's just one shelter. I think there are four shelters in this town! While I was standing there a gentleman brought in seven more kittens. Wow. If you have ever thought about adopting a cat, do it now! There are some amazing, wonderful companions in these shelters, just waiting to come home!

And please, please if you have pets-indoor or outdoor-please spay or neuter them. If you can't afford it there are programs through the shelters to help, and many vets will help if you just let them know your situation. There are just way too many homeless animals out there!

Here's our new fur friend, isn't he cute?!

An evening with Ivy

With the heat of summer upon us, my sessions are generally a bit later in the evening these days, well, the outdoor sessions anyway. A spent some time with Miss Ivy who will soon be turning three years old and we had lots of fun running (and I mean RUNNING!) around the yard, baking sand cakes and laughing at her grandmother.

"Hmm, not so sure I'm in the mood for your camera. . ."

"Let's see if we can find any kittys in my camera!"

"I think I see one!"

and then, laughing at grandma, who is pretending to BE a kitty! lol
